The Story

The Fujifilm X100 series is a camera designed for feel — the click of the shutter speed dial, the tactile aperture ring, the physical soul of analog photography in a digital body. But there's one part that always felt like an afterthought: the focus ring.

Smooth, featureless metal. Fine in a studio, but out in the real world — cold hands, rainy streets, a fleeting moment — your fingers slip. You overshoot the focus, and the moment is gone.

We wanted a grip ring that felt like it belonged on the camera from day one. Something that enhanced the tactile experience without changing the camera's character. After testing dozens of textures, diameters, and tolerances, we landed on a design that adds real grip without bulk — and looks like Fujifilm could have made it themselves.
